Connectors

Integrate your Ingram Micro account with Invoice Office

Connect your Ingram Micro account under System integrations so supplier product and order data reaches your administration without manual entry.

If you resell products sourced from a distributor, two things change constantly and neither is under your control: the catalogue and the prices. Keeping your own product records in step by hand is a job that is never finished.

Where to set it up

Connectors live under Settings → Settings → System integrations. Open the Ingram Micro connector, enter the credentials, and enable it with the switch.

The credentials are issued by Ingram Micro. If you do not have them, your account contact there is the place to start.

Why connect a distributor

  • Product data stays current rather than drifting from your supplier’s catalogue.
  • Fewer pricing mistakes. Quoting from a stale cost price is how a job that looked profitable turns out not to be.
  • Less manual entry on the purchase side, and therefore fewer of the errors manual entry produces.
  • Your stock reflects reality, which is what makes stock figures worth acting on.

Worth thinking about first

  • Decide what your sale price is derived from. Invoice Office can calculate sale prices from your profit margin — see product management — so agree the rule before the data starts arriving.
  • Check how it interacts with your price lists. If you hold customer-specific pricing, be clear about which source wins.
  • Watch it for the first weeks. Catalogue feeds are high volume, and a silent failure is expensive in proportion.
