Where you buy from one supplier regularly, the same information ends up being typed twice — once in their system when you order, and again in yours when you record it. The Nieuwkoop connector removes the second pass.
Where to set it up
All connectors are configured under Settings → Settings → System integrations. Open the Nieuwkoop connector, enter the credentials, and enable it with the switch. The same switch turns it off again later without discarding your settings.
The credentials come from Nieuwkoop. If you do not have them yet, your account contact there is who to ask.
What a supplier connector is for
- Product data arrives instead of being typed, which matters most when the catalogue is large or changes often.
- Purchases are recorded accurately, so your costs and your VAT reflect what you actually bought.
- Stock stays meaningful. Levels that update from real purchases are levels you can make decisions on.
- Less time on admin, which is the whole point of connecting anything.
Before you rely on it
- Check a small batch first. Confirm a handful of products or orders arrive correctly before trusting the full feed.
- Agree how sale prices are set. Invoice Office can calculate them from your margin — see product management — so decide the rule before the data lands.
- Keep an eye on it. Credentials expire; a feed that has quietly stopped is best caught early.
