Connectors

Integrate your Shopify account with Invoice Office

Connect your Shopify store to Invoice Office so webshop orders reach your administration without retyping — set up from Settings, Settings, System integrations.

If you sell through Shopify, the orders already exist in one system and the invoices have to exist in another. The Shopify connector closes that gap so your webshop orders reach your administration without anyone copying them across.

Where to set it up

All connectors live in the same place: Settings → Settings → System integrations. Open the Shopify connector there, enter the credentials it asks for, and use the switch to enable or disable the integration.

Why connect the two

  • No retyping. An order placed in Shopify does not need to be re-entered to be invoiced, which removes the most common source of billing errors in an e-commerce business.
  • Customers and products stay aligned between the shop and the administration, rather than drifting into two versions of the same record.
  • Your books stay current as you trade, so revenue, VAT and profit reflect what actually sold.
  • It scales with volume. Manual entry is fine at five orders a day and impossible at fifty.

Before you rely on it

Two things worth doing the way you would with any marketplace connector:

  • Check your document conditions, since they apply to the invoices the connector creates just as they do to invoices you raise by hand — see how to use document conditions.
  • Watch the connector dashboard for the first few days. Volume makes a silent failure expensive, and it is much cheaper to notice on day one than at month end.
