Integrate your QuickBooks account with Invoice Office

Connect QuickBooks to Invoice Office under System integrations, so invoices and costs reach your accounting without being entered a second time by hand.

QuickBooks is accounting software. Invoice Office is where the documents feeding it are created. Connecting the two means the invoice you raised becomes the accounting entry, rather than something re-keyed from a PDF at month end.

Where to set it up

Every connector is configured in the same place: Settings → Settings → System integrations. Open the QuickBooks connector, enter the credentials, and enable it with the switch. The same switch disables it later without discarding your settings.

The credentials come from QuickBooks, not from us — that side of the connection is theirs.

Why connect your accounting package

  • One entry instead of two. The most common bookkeeping error is not a miscalculation; it is the same transaction entered twice with a difference between the two.
  • A faster close, because there is no backlog of documents waiting to be transferred.
  • A trail that holds up. Every figure in the accounts leads back to the document that produced it.

Before you rely on it

  • Agree the mapping first. Which cost categories correspond to which accounts is a decision worth making once, with whoever reads the result.
  • Test with a handful of documents before trusting a full month to it.
  • Check in periodically. Credentials expire and APIs change; a connector that has quietly stopped is much cheaper to catch in days than at year end.
